Level 3 Award in Education and Training
The Level 3 Award in PTLLS is now known as the Level 3 Award in Education and Training (AET)
Throughout the course, you will have the opportunity to develop essential communication and presentation skills, enabling you to effectively engage learners and deliver high-quality lessons. You will also learn how to create supportive and inclusive learning environments that cater to the diverse needs of learners.
The course consists of 17 videos.
In order to complete and pass the Award in Education and Training you will need to complete 4 Assignments and 2 Microteaching Sessions.
You can deliver the Microteaching Sessions by using the video on your phone or we can arrange for you to deliver by Zoom.
Each session can be a subject of your choice but they must be different sessions. For example you might want to deliver Lesson 1 and Lesson 2 on Sign Language. Always use a subject you have knowledge of and can deliver comfortably. There are examples on the course page of previous candidates delivering their Domestics.

Before you deliver any training session, you must go through the Domestics of the course, for example, fire arrangements, health and safety, etc
You will have to complete a Lesson Plan for each Microteaching Session, which will be provided.
